Each tank drum is designed and handmade by Nico. From his childhood on Nico has had a great love for discovering, working with his hands, making, creating and Mother Nature. The versatility and dynamism of everything that grows and blooms fascinated him immensely. He was so fascinated by it that he made it his profession by becoming a gardener. Still, the inner voice of creation kept whispering. From the age of 17 Nico intended various markets with homemade dream catchers, jewelery, didgeridoos, flutes and peace pipes. Because of his love for nature, everything was always made from natural or recycled materials.

A wide range of self-made works passed by through out the years. Nico justly says about himself: 'If I can see it, I can make it.'  And then, Nico had his first encounter with a tank drum when he was selling his dream cathcers at a market. Immediately he was enchanted by this magical instrument. Once at home he went straight to work and the first tank drum was born, made of 100% recycled material.  Nico has been making these unique tank drums with great success and craftsmanship for years. In the meantime, about 500 have already been sold worldwide. His tank drums can be found in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Poland and (South) America.
